We correspond year 'round via emails and participate in ZOOM meetings on the second Thursday of every other month from 5:45 to 6:45 PM wherein we not only share original poems, but also exchange perceptive suggestions and offer constructive critiques as well as sincere encouragement, thus discovering ways to improve our own writing while also learning useful stuff from our fellow poets' creative contributions and insightful analyses.
Although Utah residents predominate, our "at large" membership has included poets from places as diverse as Garland, Texas, and Basel, Switzerland. If you already are, or wish to become, a member of UTSPS but you do not have access to a local chapter, you are welcome to join us Hinterlanders. Just drop a note to our chapter president way out in the nether regions of Idaho.
